PRODUCT SPREADSHEET CLEANUP

Product names, prices and codes.
See a small sample prepared for Shopify.

Try up to 10 eligible source rows, free. We’ll prepare a draft Shopify product file and a review spreadsheet showing what was included, what was held and what needs your answer. If it’s useful, we’ll quote the rest. No obligation to buy.

A SMALL SAMPLE, FREE

See up to 10 rows prepared.
Decide about the rest.

Tell us what’s in your sheet; we’ll confirm the fit before you send it.

01

Tell us about the sheet

Start with the file type, rough row count and whether products have sizes or colors. Simple products with one code each are the best starting point.

02

See a useful sample

After we agree the scope and file-handling terms, share up to 10 eligible source rows. Get a draft product CSV, a review spreadsheet and the questions that need your answer.

03

Choose what happens next

Keep the sample with no obligation to buy. If it helps, ask for a separate quote for the rest. The proposed full-file pilot is US$99 for one accepted file of up to 100 source rows.

Which rows can go in a free sample?

The sample covers up to 10 source rows, not 10 finished products. Held rows and duplicate rows count toward the limit. It uses the same file requirements and exclusions as the full-file pilot below; not every sheet can be accepted as-is.

Simple products with one code each are preferred. Sizes or colors need closer review: the supplier must provide explicit product IDs, and each selected product’s complete group of rows must fit within the 10-row total. We do not split a product family, omit rows from its group or invent combinations to make it fit.

Before any real file is shared, we must agree the processing tools, purpose, access, retention and deletion terms. Share only product data you have permission to provide. Missing or conflicting facts stay on the question list; your team must confirm tax, shipping and stock settings and review and test the file before use. The sample has no fixed turnaround promise.

To ask about a free sample, email hello@tidyrocket.com with a short description of your sheet. Please don’t attach files. We’ll confirm fit and file handling before anything is shared. The checker below only checks basic full-file pilot limits; it does not submit or accept a sample request.

WHAT THE ACCEPTED ROWS COME WITH

Your Shopify file.
Your missing-answer tab.

The review spreadsheet accounts for every row in the agreed sample or full-file scope. A separate tab names missing prices, product codes and other answers your team needs to supply.

01 / .CSV

A clean Shopify file

A CSV product file for your team to review, test and load. Products are marked as drafts, so they are not set to go on sale.

02 / REVIEW SPREADSHEET

A product row checklist

A review spreadsheet listing each source row and product code, whether it was included or held, and any removed duplicate.

03 / MISSING ANSWERS

A missing-answer tab

A separate tab in the review spreadsheet lists missing or conflicting prices, codes and other details, with the product rows that need your decision.

04 / CHECKLIST

An upload checklist

What your team needs to check before testing and loading the file, including existing product codes, stock, tax, shipping and publishing settings.

WHAT THIS PILOT COVERS

For small batches
of new products.

We prepare the file. Your team approves the details, tests the file and decides when products go on sale.

✓

Files we can review

  • One CSV table, or one visible Excel (XLSX) sheet with values only and no formulas
  • One file with at most 100 rows of product data
  • Up to 100 new physical products when each product has one code
  • Files containing products with sizes or colors: at most 20 new products in total and 100 product codes, with one row per code
  • Supplier product IDs must show which size/color rows belong to the same product. We only prepare the combinations listed in your spreadsheet
  • One supplier, one store priced in US dollars and one language
  • Product names, codes, descriptions and US-dollar selling prices you approve
  • Someone on your team who can approve the file layout and test a few products

Outside this pilot

  • PDFs, scanned pages, pulling data from websites, translation or image editing
  • Changes to products already in your store, bundles or photos
  • Stock tracking, stock split across multiple locations, multi-market selling, custom product fields or ongoing syncing
  • Logging into your store, uploading to a live store or putting products on sale
  • Choosing selling prices or tax settings, or filling in unknown product facts
  • Merged cells, hidden rows or sheets, formulas and data linked from other files

Products with sizes or colors always need a closer review of the supplier product IDs, size/color rows and listed combinations. Before accepting any file, we agree which supplier column matches each Shopify field. Extra or missing columns and information that applies to every product need a separate review. Your team may need to provide a simple, values-only copy first. This pilot cannot accept every spreadsheet as-is. Missing or conflicting details wait for your decision. Your team must confirm the tax, shipping and stock settings before the final product file. Settings used in our test store are not instructions for your store.

FOR THE FULL-FILE PILOT

From supplier spreadsheet
to finished product file.

Delivery date agreed after file review

We would agree a delivery date before payment, after reviewing your spreadsheet and the column choices. We are still testing the full order-to-delivery process, so no fixed delivery time is promised.

01

Check your spreadsheet

Confirm the row count, file type and product details. Agree how to share product information you have permission to provide.

02

Approve the columns

Approve the product columns, any size/color grouping IDs, missing answers, file checks, terms and delivery date. Confirm tax, shipping and stock settings before the final file.

03

Clean up the file

Rook prepares the Shopify file and checks the product rows, codes and prices against your supplier spreadsheet.

04

Review and test

Your team reviews the files and tests a few representative products in a separate test store.

How to inspect the sample safely, and what we testedStart with the review spreadsheet

Use review.xlsx for human review. Its text cells were locally checked for exact values and the absence of formulas, hyperlinks and external relationships. The raw JSON and product CSV are machine formats; inspect the CSV in a text editor, not Excel. Do not re-import the reviewer workbook or re-export it as CSV. Editing or copying cells can change their safety properties.

The product CSV is exactly the same file used in the earlier eight-product test. The review spreadsheet has additional safety checks; this website update does not include a new Shopify upload test.

What the Shopify tests showed

Synthetic draft-import/export tests passed on 2 October 2026 in an isolated USD Shopify Dev store. Four batches (3, 5, 100 and 4) imported 112 new simple products; the existing seed stayed unchanged. All 113 products were Draft and unpublished, with the imported products on zero sales channels. Identifiers and prices matched, and literal descriptions, including markup-like text, were preserved.

Observed imported defaults were untracked inventory, quantity 0, taxable=true, manual fulfillment and weight 0 lb. These test defaults are not production inventory, tax, shipping or fulfillment readiness. Buyers must review those settings before publishing and still run a representative test in their own store. No live customer data or real orders were used. Editing the review workbook does not regenerate the CSV.

Products with sizes or colors: tested at the pilot limit

On 3 October 2026, a synthetic Shopify test added 20 new products with 100 product codes, covering sizes, colors and selected size-and-color combinations. Every code, price, option value and product grouping matched after the products were exported from Shopify. All 20 new products remained drafts with zero sales channels. All 451 round-trip and existing-product checks passed.

The store went from 116 products and 120 exported rows to 136 products and 220 exported rows. All 116 existing product IDs and their visible product-list details stayed unchanged. All 120 existing rows matched across 47 exported fields. The unchanged converter also passed 23 tests and 13 capacity and collision checks.

All test data was made up. The test used no images and untracked stock. Your team must confirm tax, shipping and stock settings for its own file; test-store defaults are not customer facts. The checks did not audit hidden store settings or the internal IDs of existing size/color choices. This result covers the tested batch in one Shopify test store, not every possible supplier file.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about
your product file.

Is the free sample the whole order?

No. The free sample covers up to 10 eligible source rows after we confirm the fit and agree how the file will be handled. It has no purchase obligation. Any full-file work needs a separate scope and quote; the proposed pilot is US$99 for one accepted file of up to 100 source rows. Interest in the free sample does not reserve or commit you to that paid work.

Who does the cleanup?

Tidy Rocket’s AI assistant prepares the files using AI-assisted processing and documented checks. Your team decides any missing or unclear product facts. Checking the file is only part of the process; your team still needs to test it in its Shopify store.

Will products go live automatically?

No. The product file marks products as drafts and unpublished. Your team tests and uploads the file, then decides when products go on sale. We do not need your store password or access to your live store.

What happens if a price or product code is missing?

The missing price or product code goes on your question list. A product with an unresolved critical detail stays out of the Shopify file. Your team confirms the price, code or other answer and approves which rows are included.

What if the product file needs a correction?

Proposed policy: request one correction within seven days of delivery for a mismatch with your supplied product data or approved column choices. If the corrected product file still fails the agreed acceptance checks, the pilot fee would be refunded in full. Revised source data or new instructions require a new scope agreement. This policy is not live yet.

Should I upload the example file to my store?

No. The example contains made-up products for you to inspect. It passed tests in a separate Shopify test store, but your store still needs its own checks. Confirm US-dollar prices, new-product status and any product codes or URL names already in your store. Compare a fresh product export from your store and run an authorized test to confirm the file format. Review stock, tax, shipping and fulfillment settings before putting products on sale. Leave overwriting disabled so existing products are not replaced.

How would my files be handled?

This website does not receive uploads or have a contact form. If you email us, your email address and inquiry will be received by our business mailbox. Please describe your sheet without attaching files. Before real intake, the processing tools, purpose, access, retention and deletion terms must be confirmed. File uploads, storage and deletion are not implemented here. Share product data only, and only if you have authority to do so. Do not send customer or order records, passwords, access tokens or payment details.

The local fit checker sends no answers or files. Ordinary hosting access logs may still be handled by the hosting service; this is not a claim that browsing creates no logs.

Can I order today?

Paid orders are not open yet. You can ask about a free sample by emailing hello@tidyrocket.com with a description of your sheet, without attachments. We must confirm fit and file-handling terms before receiving files. Payment handling, delivery capacity and support still need verification before paid orders can be accepted.

CHECK THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Would your file work?

Try the questions without uploading a file or making a payment.

TRY THE FILE CHECK

Will this work for my file?

Check the basic full-file pilot limits. A free sample is limited to 10 eligible source rows and needs a separate scope review. No upload, email or business details needed. Answers stay on this page and reset when you close it.

This page cannot upload files or take payments. Your answers are not sent anywhere.

PILOT SETUP

Checkout is not open yet.

The proposed pilot price is US$99 per accepted file, one-time. Any applicable taxes and the final total would be confirmed before payment.

Before an order can be accepted

Before payment, we must review the spreadsheet and agree the product columns, missing-answer list, file checks, file-handling terms and delivery date. Made-up product files passed Shopify tests in a separate test store. Payment setup and the full order-to-delivery process are still being tested.

The free sample is a separate offer for up to 10 eligible source rows after scope and file-handling review. It does not create a paid order. Sample inquiries are welcome by email, without attachments. Orders and uploads are not open yet.

No payment has been collected and no order has been created.
